Oh hi, people who actually read this blog!
I’ve been a tad busy lately so I haven’t updated in two weeks, and it feels like forever. But in the mean time before I do a legit post, I thought I might mention some upcoming food and drink goings-on in Baltimore that have caught my eye and y’all might want to attend:
10/20: The Nutella Breakfast Tour! As a part of the DC leg of the tour, the Nutella food truck stops in downtown Baltimore this Saturday. Check out their Facebook event page and follow their Twitter account for details on the location of the truck. There are free Nutella samples, an inflatable Nutella jar… what more could you want? I found out this Nutella truck and tour existed via Boston Tweet.
10/26: There is a food truck gathering next Friday in McHenry Row. If you haven’t made it to one yet, they are always a good time. The gathering is one of the last of the season, so go go go! The Gathering Facebook page has the latest info.
10/28: Heavy Seas Farm to Table Brunch! One of my favorite bloggers went to a farm to table event in her area and it just seemed awesome and informative, especially if you are interested in where your food comes from, so I was excited to see Heavy Seas hosting a similar event. The addition of local beer to this concept just knocks it out of the park, in my opinion. Five courses of good food and beer for $45 seems like a pretty good deal to me.
In other beer news, Baltimore Beer Week kicks off today. So if you’re a craft beer drinker see what BBW events are going on in your neck of the woods. Tonight there’s a Baltimore Beer Week Opening Tap Celebration at Power Plant with Heavy Seas, Alexander’s Tavern is running a special on Sierra Nevada, and Joe Squared is having a local tap takeover, just to name a few.
Happy eating and happy Friday!
